 PRESIDENTS REPORT
Firstly congratulations must go to first grade for another great grand final victory. The core of the team has been together for 6 or 7 years and records show that the two two-day premierships as well as the three one-day premierships makes this side the most successful 1st grade team the club has ever seen.
Eight of the guys playing in this final win also played in the previous win in 2000-01. The guys would agree that last season was not the best but their resurgence came about as a direct result of the off-season work of this seasons first grade captain Mark Johnson and club coach Matthew Pogson. A great deal was happening inside the club during the off season but the whole time the executive were exploring and securing a new major sponsor in Bulli Workers Club, (more on that soon) Mark and Poggo and I am sure others were busy securing a commitment from the first grade players to stand up and win the competition.
