 It gives me great pleasure in being associated with such a wonderful club and it is even more of a terrific feeling when we win competitions. Congratulations to 2nd Grade for peaking at the right time leading into the final series and simply belted both Balgownie and University in the finals.
Taking over from Brett Cleaves was always going to be a difficult task as Brett led the club extremely well & played a huge part in our relocation to Hollymount Park East & the building of the clubhouse. I cannot thank him enough for handing the club over in such good shape. On the clubhouse, this was our 2nd season of being able to utilise the facility, and it has really brought the entire club together. From drinks after training to drinks after matches & the many bbq’s we had there during the season - it has been a godsend for the club spirit. If things run well off the field then this has a habit of running onto the field and our results this season proved this to indeed be the case.
