Butcher Boundary 2011-12 No.1

Season 2011/12 – Yes it’s that time already Butchers! It’s time to pull those grass stained white’s out of that smelly sweat soaked cricket bag, soak them, wash them and have them packed ready for your 1st game …unless you’re a 1st or 2nd Grader who got to that a week earlier than the other grades this year. 

Most already know, but for those not in the know, the competition is now divided with only 1st and 2nd grade remaining with the established format of playing a mixture of 1-Day and 2-Day cricket throughout the season. Cricket Illawarra have changed the lower grade format slightly with 3rd grade now also resigned to playing permanent 1-day cricket for the entire 2011/12 season. 4th Grade continues their 1-Day format as in season’s past, and despite some hype of a return of “5th Grade” that has not eventuated.
