Butchers have been looking forward to the much anticipated Blue vs White match in Round 3.
Dalton Park South - Ever since the 5th Grade draw was released, Butchers have been looking forward to the much anticipated NDCC 5th Grade Blue vs NDCC 5th Grade White match in Round 3. Add salivating at the mouth to a long list of superlatives as it will be a match that pits two undefeated teams against each other, with the winner remaining well ingrained in the Top 4.

Gary 'Spider' Neilsons led Blue team will be chomping at the bit to complete an entire game; boasting club stalwarts such as Dean Martin, Greg Martin and Mick Essenstam. There's also the youthful exuberance of Matthew Van Wijk and Sam Gilkes which will be a plus in the field.

Renn Murphy's led White team is chock full of familiar last names; you'd be forgiven for thinking there'd be more than enough rust around the edges of some (if not all) players to hinder a strong start to the season. Leading by example is Murphy and has so far been well supported by Mark Smith, Garry Crawford and Jason Dunn. The team appears well organized, relatively unknown and you can't help but feel there's a romantic touch to the idea of a finals berth later in the season.

Bring on Dalton Park Saturday. Keep your mobile web capable phones handy as we've got an enthusiastic Ryan 'Stumpy' O'Hara ready to perform updates as often as possible. Now the only question remains: Who will player of the week and sudden in-demand Scott Perkiss play for?
