Jackson Stewart is enjoying a golden time with bat and ball; and has been rewarded with Rep U16 Captaincy.
Northern Districts Cricket Club player Jackson Stewart has recently been announced captain of the Cricket Illawarra HPU U16 Bradman Cup Squad to take part in the Annual Bradman Cup next month. It is a huge honour for both Jackson and the club as the squad starts training for the Bradman Cup Carnival.

Alongside Jackson in the team will be fellow Butchers Lachlan Dunn and Jacob Hand as Northern Districts continues to have a very promising future with the emergence of so many promising young players.

The Bradman Cup is an Under 16s competition which takes place on an annual basis with each Country Zone across NSW represented. The current Country Zones are North Coastal, Central Northern, Western, Newcastle, Central Coast, Illawarra, Riverina and Southern.

Following the conclusion of the Championships, the winner of the Bradman Cup plays the winner of the A W Green Shield competition in the State Under 16 Challenge.

Illawarra last won the cup (then named St George Bank Cup) in 1993-94. Congratulations Jackson, Jacob and Lachlan and good luck!
