Jason Wilson matched his career best of 5-17; but this time it was in 2nd Grade. It was a match winning performance.
Northern Districts has capped off a memorable round against the old enemy with all top three grades getting up today.

At Figtree the 1st Grade Butchers finished their season on a high with a 77 run thumping of the Red Devils thanks largely to contributions from Neil Ryan (3/32), Brett Murphy (2/8) and Jamal Banfield (2/28).

At Hollymount Jason Wilson wreaked havoc in just his second 2nd Grade appearance; claiming 5/17 off an 15 amazing overs as the Butchers got up by 26 runs. Eric Denhartog (3/34) was so brutal the batsmen queried his maximum allotted overs, while Michael Doig (2/30) picked up two vital wickets.

At Dalton West the Butchers overcame a solid Wests start to maintain it's unbeaten season and Minor Premiership with a sound 31 run victory. Matt Benstead (4/43) and Curtis Wilson (4/21) the chief wreckers in a dominating display with the ball.

In other Grades, Matt Craig scored a career best 40* in 4th Grades loss to Helensburgh; cruelly robbed of a deserving half century when running out of partners. Rob Murphy (2 wickets) bowled superbly but it wasn't enough as the hot and cold side went down today.

Scott Perkiss scored 39 and Mick Essenstam 27 in 5th Grade Blue's 119 but Jon Lowe's 2/20 wasn't enough as Uni Blue got home easily for the loss of 5 wickets.

In the other 5th Grade game; White got an early day after being dismissed for just 41. Front runners Dapto got there easily for the loss of no wickets.

More to come.
