Welcome to the 2010/2011 cricket season!
As many of you know Mark 'Harry' Johnson has returned to the club in a first grade captain-coach role and a number of new and old faces will be turning out for the Butchers again this season. Mark has led the club in the past and has also represented the Illawarra, Country NSW and Country Australia. We welcome him back to the club look forward to his return to first grade this season.
Mortgage Success have also indicated an interest in returning as the club's major sponsor and we hope to bring many new sponsors on board after the success of the Sportsman's Luncheon.
As a result the club is looking stronger both financially and on the field!
We hope you can join us at the first club training session on SUNDAY AUGUST 1 for what will no doubt be an interesting, challenging and enjoyable preseason. Both Mark and Curtis Wilson will assist in running the sessions and will be available to answer any queries you may have regarding your individual game or the club's plans for this season.
Start time will be 2pm and will be followed by a quiet beverage at Woonona Bowling Club if you feel the need to quench your thirst!
