In what could be fondly mistaken as a 93/94 Butcher scorecard; the "retired" Butchers got up against the Port Boys during the first T20 Last Man Stands match over the weekend. Chasing 140 for victory the Butchers, led by an unbeaten Neal Tomczynski half century, won comfortably with two overs to spare.
Steve Khan (29*), Mick Allen (27) and Josh Shelton (17) all got amongst the runs whilst the wickets were shared at one-a-piece between Shelton, Khan, Kieren Pogson and Peter Cleaves.
The Butchers next play The Super Dudes at Dalton Park Middle this coming Sunday at 11am.
