Today is the day ...The annual NDCC Bowls Day has arrived. The theme is 'Australiana' dress up, so ensure that you come in your best Aussie dress! This could be anything or anyone famously Aussie and there will be prizes for best dressed!
The day will kick off for those who can make it earlier in the day to watch day 2 of the 4th Test. Bowlers should arrive at 6pm for a practice if you wish and then the 'tournament' will begin at 6:30pm. There will be prizes for the winning pair and also finalists, so choose your partners carefully!
Entry is $10 per team ($5 each) and the bistro is open for dinner, with great specials on pizza and pasta night. For those who may be interested TBLRC holds its weekly Trivia on Wednesday nights, kicking off at 7pm and free to enter. There will be some other games and prizes up for grabs so be sure not to miss out on a great day and night of action.

Update: Butchers do not despair the bowls day today is still going ahead. Greenskeeper currently checking surface and will let us know, but if it not available then it will be indoor bowls!!
