| PROFILE |
Jamal has enjoyed a meteoric rise from junior to club's leading strike bowler in just a few short years. His potential was noted when at the conclusion of Season 2007/08 he was awarded with the U19 Most Improved award for his continued improvement as a 3rd Grade fast bowler.
Fast forward two years and you'll find that the young man has 48 First Grade scalps, a First Grade bag and a First Grade hat-trick. Along the way he has also picked up First Grade Bowler of the Year (2008/09) and U23 Player of the Year (2008/09). He is surely poised to pick up more awards as Season 2009/10 winds to a close.
Jamal is fast, passionate and at times angry. The perfect recipe for a fast bowler and quickly plugging the gaping hole left by noted and representative quick Lee Clouten. Jamal himself continues to earn representative call-up and was again selected in the North vs South match this year.
